Samsung continues its regular monthly security updates with the June 2024 update. Available for many devices from the beginning of the month, the update has now been released for more A series phones, including the Galaxy A54, A53, and A52s. Here are the new devices receiving the Samsung Galaxy June 2024 update…
June 2024 update released for the A series
The update, which was also released for the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, and foldable models in recent weeks, fixes 59 security vulnerabilities according to the announcements. It may not have been released yet for the announced devices in the Turkish market, so it’s worth noting that not all regions receive the update simultaneously.
The expanded update for the A series has been rolled out to users in the US for the Galaxy A54’s SM-A546U model with the software version A546USQS7CXF3. Prior to this, it was released for the Galaxy A53 5G’s SM-A536U1 model with the software version A536U1UES9EXF2.
Other A series phones receiving the Galaxy June 2024 security update include the Galaxy A42 5G, which has received its final update after four years. This device has concluded its four-year update support and the June update is likely its last. Another phone receiving the update is the Galaxy A14 with the software version A145FXXU6CXF1 and model number SM-A145F.
The update released for the Galaxy A14 is accompanied by the One UI 6.1 update, so you will see it as One UI 6.1 on your device, which is a larger update compared to a regular security update. After updating, you can explore new features.
If your phone is among these devices but hasn’t received the update yet, it will be available soon in Turkey. To check for the update, go to the Software Update section in the Settings app and click the Download and Install button.
